Ede

A short history of Ede by Chief Olunlade, the Otun Seriki of Ede, translated from the Yoruba by I.A. Akinjogbin. Part of the Yoruba Traditional Histories series under the general editorship of Dr. S.O. Biobaku, Director of the Yoruba Historical Research Scheme. This series represented a systematic effort to record and preserve the oral historical traditions of Yoruba towns and chieftaincies.
