Drawings

A collection of drawings by Uche Okeke, one of the founding members of the Zaria Art Society and a pioneer of the 'Natural Synthesis' movement in Nigerian art. Okeke's work drew on Igbo uli patterns and mythology, creating a visual language that was simultaneously modern and rooted in tradition.
