Libation and Other Poems

Libation and Other Poems is a poetry collection by Mamman Jiya Vatsa, Nigerian soldier, administrator, and poet. Drawing on Nupe oral traditions alongside his experience of modern Nigeria, it is among his most significant works. Vatsa served as Brigadier-General in the Nigerian Army and held several ministerial positions before his execution in 1986 following a coup attempt.
