Nigerian Student Verse

Nigerian Student Verse is an anthology of poems by students at the University of Ibadan, published by the English Department. It represents an important early document of the literary culture that flourished at Ibadan in the 1950s and 1960s — the seedbed of the generation that would transform African literature.
